What is Schoolhouse Farm?

Thanks for mozyin' on by here!
Schoolhouse Farm relocated from its urban setting less than a year ago to the country.
On 10.5 mostly forest acres, really more 'homesteaders' than farmers, we're focused on incorporating Permaculture, Biodynamics and to sharing and learning with our neighbors and community. We aim to be sustainable and productive--though it will take some time. We're thrilled to be a part of the 'Great Homesteading Migration' that's taking place all over the world! We hope to encourage other people to follow their dream of 'living off the land' by doing whatever they can, where they are.

Our vision for Schoolhouse Farm is to have a community friendly place where folks can come and reconnect, learn, be creative and kindle a passion for the back-to-basics lifestyle.
From beekeeping to aromatherapy, permaculture design to homebrewing and canning, we want to involve people who have the same desire to learn and grow--pun intended.

Please take a look at the classes and workshops we have available. As we grow we hope to add to the list all kinds of back-to-basic crafts, handiworks and skills that will help rekindle that love we have for Creation and our own capabilities--if only we'd just try.
